about

In an homage to the classic albums “Animal Lover” by The Residents and “Animals” by Pink Floyd, "Sacred Songs Of The Field", the 11th from The Elderbranch Campaign, presents a set of experimental dark ambient sound sculptures showcasing their interpretation of how various animals (in this case sheep, pigs and dogs) would express themselves musically, and includes highly manipulated field recordings of each animal for their associated track.

Stylistically and musically it is their most complex and varied work to date, covering multiple styles and moods as it weaves synths, guitars, found objects, voices and highly processed field recordings into vivid experimental dark ambient journeys that act as soundtracks for the mind.

ABSOLUTELY BEST EXPERIENCED OVER HEADPHONES.
